Real Estate Agents to be targeted
by the Fair Work Ombudsman

The Fair Work Ombudsman has issued a press release that inspectors will be targeting Real Estate agents over the next two months checking that agencies are paying employees correctly.
Target areas noted by the Fair Work Ombudsman include Caringbah, Carlton, Hurstville, Miranda, rockdale and Sutherland.
The Ombudsman will look at both the commisioned sales people and administrative staff ensuring they are receiving their full entitlements.
If you are not sure that you are complying with the Fair Work Act or the Moden Awards we reommend that you review your pay structure, documentattion and conditions of employment for all employees and contractors.
The Ombudsman can issue significant penalties for each breach of the Fair Work Act and/or Modern Awards.
