The family law team at Watkins Tapsell offer complete family law services to their clients, including advising in relation to:

Watkins Tapsell has been practising Family Law for over 30 years. Matthew has been a partner since 1984 and is well known for his involvement in a wide range of Family Law matters, acting for both husbands and wives, in all aspects of Family Law. Matthew also has accounting qualifications to support his role as your legal adviser in complex family law property settlements. As a parent, Matthew is very aware of the pressures and worries placed upon parents, and brings his own extensive life experiences to the role of advising his clients about the highly emotional issues involved in Family Court proceedings.
Kristy Durrant is an experienced lawyer who specialises in parenting matters. Prior to joining Watkins Tapsell, Kristy worked as a solicitor in the area of child protection and is sensitive to the needs of clients and children involved in a relationship breakdown.
Our Family Law team has a close relationship with Interrelate, a counselling and mediation body that has special skills in mediating disputes between spouses over issues such as property and children. We also have associations with many counsellors, mediators and other services throughout the Sutherland Shire, St George and Wollongong districts.
We understand the stress placed on families when relationships breakdown and we deal with our clients sensitively. Our clients can be assured that the details of their family law matters will be dealt with confidentially.. Our aim is to offer practical advice and cost effective solutions to all our clients.
