Mikaela has extensive experience in Estate Planning and Family Law matters. Originally practicing within the Illawarra, Mikaela has assisted clients in her local community with a wide variety of estate planning, deceased estate and Family Provision Claims. She has also assisted clients with dealing with separation in both parenting and property matters. Mikaela’s clients have described her as empathetic, professional and approachable.
Mikaela prides herself in being able to assist clients through difficult times in their lives, including planning for death or for loss of capacity, family disputes and relationship breakdown. Her goal is to be able to explain complex legal concepts and processes into simple and easy to understand terms and to do everything possible to reduce the burden on the client, so that they have the assurance that the next chapter of their life is taken care of.
In 2021, Mikaela graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Human Resource Management, with distinction. She also in the same year, obtained her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
