Zohra commenced her legal career as an Associate in both the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court at Melbourne exclusively in the Family Law jurisdiction.

During her time as an Associate, Zohra assisted various Judges of both Courts by undertaking research, editing judgments and assisting the case managements of matters before the Court. Zohra’s role as an Associate required her presence in court for many trials and hearings, giving her a unique insight into effective advocacy and judicial requirements.

Zohra has enjoyed memberships with the Law Institute of Victoria, the Family Law Section of The Law Council of Australia, the Victorian Women’s Lawyers and the Law Society of New South Wales as well as various legal and professional women’s networking groups.

Zohra has extensive experience in a variety of property and parenting matters including complex corporate and trust structures, spousal maintenance claims as well as child abuse matters.

Zohra regularly appears in the Family Court, Federal Circuit Court as well as in local courts and is a strong and confident legal advocate.
